A good idea for any neighborhood. Plan and be sure to have medic staff nearby. If no neighbors or yourself has no access to a medic then groom a child or two for this noble service and hopefully by the time that kid grows into the role the civil war will not have started. Involve the neighborhood to support the effort. Plan for defense in game and comradery over a meal, cookout etc. As a way to get to know your neighbors thru friendship and trust; any like minded individuals will produce calm and fun rather than a possible upset of the less bold. Know the police employees and fire dept employees and know who is there to follow orders and who is up to the task of protecting the US constitution via rebellion if necessary in the event of invasion by non-US-citizens or those with hostile intent, communistic tendencies, anti-1A-2A propagandists and fear mongers
