Game theory has shown repeatedly that betrayal is bound to happen unless you actively work against it. As soon as the incentives shift, your "loyal" cooperator may defect. Remember that loyalty is never guaranteed, regardless of "trust." When you fail to adequately reward your alliances, they'll defect to another outside option that is more capable of rewarding them than you are, whether through reciprocity or material reward. To avert this vicious occurrence, you must always reward those who support you in a way that makes their effort feel seen. Failing to do so can cost you everything.

I actually don't hate any religion. Most religions don't impact me at all and in general, reiterate to be good people.
