@arshgoyal13 @JamadaLoL @DShyKnock I get it, I am excited about DSG and Fly too, there's a lot to like, young teams full of local talent that put up a fight. But the narratives'd make you think they're in competition for the top3 when they are not, safe for a big upset. LYON (Inspired) said so too in last pros.

also, FLY got tangibly better every time we saw them. even from the start of hte split!

@prplpriestess From my POV in europe they weren't loathed at all. They also weren't loved either, they weren't anything because no effort to promote them was made. Everyone knew DPPT existed when it released. I was a huge pokemon fan and only learnt of BW when I saw it at the shop...

@ramenjoyer2134 @jaxonfiles_ Its even worse because the game has internal decimals it doesn't show you and I was once speed tuning a -1 speed setup, saw I could get away with like 4 less speed for better othet stats, switched a relic with 4 less speed and got 5 less speed instead on the stat page 😭

@Lesiantha @The0neulost One particular spell did bad single target necrotic dmg but if the target was a "plant" it deal A LOT of necrotic dmg instead. Only all the plants in the game are zombie plants immune to necrotic dmg so the spell is always useless the entire game for logical reasons :)

@Lesiantha @The0neulost Nah, BG3 does this with enemies having logical immunities but in practice since enemies tend to be of a type it just makes certain damage types, spells and playstyles useless for the entire game.

So my biggest gripe with rpg games is this.
Stop putting DoTs in games if you are going to make every boss immune to them.
The only place in most rpgs the DoTs are useful is with bosses or large HP high defense enemies.
Yet these devs are so bad at balancing their game they just put a band aid of:
Um actually you can’t do that.
RPG devs are that kid on the playground making up BS as to why your attack didn’t hit them.

@Jolutejavi @NadinP85 @JorCru This has resulted in EVERY remote worker being required to work on a 2office/3remote post pandemic, at least officially. Most are still fully remote in practice, but the contract must state they are partially remote so that noone gets paid the tiiiiiny extra :)

@Jolutejavi @NadinP85 @JorCru Where I live companies ARE required to pay the tiniest of tiniests bit more to full remote workers to cover internet, electricity and space costs that the employer isn't providing, but are exempt if it's not full remote. Can't stress enough how little money it is.
