Another quick science lesson with Liv bc I love random things like this 🤓👀 So if you’re wondering why tae can handle wasabi but not chilli. It’s to do with the different receptors they trigger. Chillies, peppers; they have capsaicin that trigger the TRPV1 receptor on your tongue. While wasabi and English mustard, contain allyl isothiocyanate that trigger the TRPA1 receptor in your nasal passages. And. Another cool fun thing about capsaicin and allyl isothiocyanate. They’re both oils that get released from their source. But the difference is that capsaicin remains an oil on your tongue that allows you to taste the heat. While allyl isothiocyanates are highly volatile where the oils turn to gas very quickly. Meaning when wasabi hits your tongue, it almost immediately turns into its gaseous form in your mouth and heads into your nasal passages. Hence why the spicyness you experience with chilli stays on your tongue and lips whereas the spicyness you experience from wasabi goes into your nose and sinus cavities. And that’s also why tae can tolerate wasabi but not chilli. Bc one is in his nose. And one is on his tongue. Cool right??? I’m sorry I’m such a nerd btw.

the way each member loves bts, one of the reasons their bond is unbreakable. it’s why they’ve never fallen apart because all seven of them truly love being in the group, supporting each other and being together.

The whole debate about jungkooks prime is so stupid because jungkook has always been in his prime and he’s only 28 people forget that.. saying that his early 20s were his prime is a little bit of a weird thing to say. With or without tattoos, jungkook is obviously attractive.
