この階段のテクスチャ見事だ。片側一方向の特定角度から見た時のみに有効な錯視的な陰影が一枚に両サイド分描かれている。たしかに一方の角度でのみ有効な逆サイドを隠す遮蔽物さえあればほぼ完全な錯視が成立する。時のオカリナ等でも見たことあるが"レンダリング"という言葉の意味をよく理解している

@Unbetbee @RCcurse @animeposts It happens now and again, but not to the same extent as that first episode. It’s not played off as a fanservice-y thing in context, it’s meant to be uncomfortable rather than sexy, and it’s definitely not a running gag.

Not really, Gerry Anderson was a HUGE influence on Anno and his generation, Thunderbirds model kits, the tv show, were all huge things for him. It's kind of a lost piece of the puzzle for some people.
