The value of #dairy #cow longevity is complex - affected by genetic improvement (more heifers), heifer replacement cost and effects of cow maturity. In USA, 4-5 lactations seems to be ideal, though depends on assumptions. Interesting commentary here: foodandfarmingfutures.co.uk/PrestoMobile#/…
