When it comes to reactions to the releases, I don’t think you can lump all of the released wrestlers into the same package. Sometimes, people just don’t work out for whatever reasons. But some of them are incredibly bizzare choices. The Wyatt Sicks hurt because of our attachment to Bray. Aleister Black was incredible in the ring, always performed well and had the set up for what could have been an incredible feud with Randy Orton if they hadn’t replaced him with Pat Mcafee And then there’s Kairi Sane. Kairi who is definitely over and has a large fan base. Kairi who has regular viral segments. Kairi who is the LYNCHPIN in a feud between Asuka and Iyo Sky that’s been building for the better part of a year! 👏 Make 👏 it 👏 make 👏 sense! 👏 Releasing Kairi, especially before that storyline is complete is an incredible slap in the face to Iyo Sky, Asuka and all the fans that were invested in it, instead of being a celebration of her resilience and watching her rise up against how she was treatment the moral we are left with is… what? Abuse is ok? I am literally begging fans to give her the R-Truth treatment. If nothing else, she deserves to finish her story as much as Cody ever did.
