I went to the bank earlier today and ran into someone I hadn’t seen since my ABU days. She was there to fix her account and asked what I came for. I told her I wanted to withdraw some money. She looked surprised, “People still come to banks to withdraw cash these days?” She asked how much, and I said, “Just 3k.” She was shocked, “3k? You don’t have a card?” I said no. “What about transfer to POS?” I told her that one skipped me too. She finished before me and came to wait at the counter while we caught up. Eventually, the cashier handed me my 3k… in a white envelope. She laughed, “Just 3k and they put it in an envelope?” I said, “Well, it’s Friday tomorrow… maybe they’re in a good mood.” Some people can't just get it at all. And I even teased her by asking her to drop me off at my place since she came with a car so that I don't have to spend my small 3k on TP.😂 — Muhammad Bello Buhari
