Feels like I’m in a bizarro universe where a large chunk of the audience just wants the final season of Game of Thrones - all plot, no time to let character moments land, just battles and spectacle and death cuz ending.

It’s annoying how some #TheBoys viewers keep complaining. Epi 4 & 5 took deep dive into back stories. A show is made by its characters, their thoughts, motives, emotions. How can anyone relate to a show without knowing THEM deeply. I was seeing complains of lack of Black Noir, Sage & Firecracker till last week. The current epi gave them the stage. And you guys still complain? Then it also took the story ahead by showing Sage’s plans, Soldier Boy & Homelander’s relation taking a new shade, both of them finding the exact spot the V1 is. And it was entertaining. The main motive is to kill Homelander, if that happens now what will we watch the rest of the episodes for?

The plot DID move forward:
Butcher agreed to save Kimiko and Starlight.
They know for sure Bombsight has V1 (two sources instead of one).
Firecracker is dead.
We know Sage's true intentions now.
Soldier Boy saved his son, which could have impact in the final showdown.
