There for logically speaking you can't say it's always been that way. It's like saying retard was always used to describe people who were slow when actually it was an engineering term.

As someone who was here since Day 1: What actually happened was that it was a harmless term that originated from Star Wars cause this is what the Clones called the droids. Helldivers players and other people began using it harmlessly and then the racists jumped on and ruined it

Gook and Zipperhead as you stated are literally derogatory slurs used to dehumanize. Droids on the other hand are pre programmed robots with varying sentience.

Is there racism against droids in Star wars absolutely especially because of the clone wars. Unfortunately it's not an indication the term was meant to always have been racist in its use

@Antrodemus The term originated as a slur for droids in the clone wars. It's always been racist. Shit, even in the original trilogy there's a bar that straight up says "we don't serve your kind here" to C3PO and R2D2.

@KibryHouse Clanker originated from Star Wars The Clone Wars that cartoon literally started it and calling an ai droid that came from Star Wars fans first. It's not racist it's just a derogatory term used to denote an ai robot The clones also called them clankers because they CLANKED when 🚶‍♂️
