Long time local basketball coach (and sports broadcaster) Chris Burtch has been named the new Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Butler County Community College! Burtch coached boys at Slippery Rock HS from 1999-2004, won 74 games and made the PIAA tourney twice, coached girls at Grove City HS 2015-21, won 91 games and the 2020 5A D10 championship.
This will be his first collegiate coaching experience, but he played at BC3 from 1988-90.
