THIS Is what evil looks like. A Chicago mother - Jannie Perry, 42, was sentenced to 45 years in prison for murdering herson Damari Perry, 6, by forcing him into a cold shower on his birthday. On December 30, 2021, Damari’s sixth birthday, Perry punished him for taking food from the trash by forcing him into a cold shower for an extended period. Police say he convulsed and died from hypothermia. Perry and some of her other children took his body to Gary, Indiana, and tried to burn his remains before abandoning them near an abandoned house.
