Crypto exchanges like @HyperliquidX need to implement a dynamic fee model, where base fee paid by users depends on the expected volatility of the asset. To have same fee structure for BTC kind of assets and stablecoin or FX kind of assets is just a death warrent to trading of stables and FX.

Already 0.08% of HYPE Supply is held by DATs and HYPE ETFs are not even live yet. There is not enough HYPE.

After having worked with the Lighter team for a year and a half, I've decided to take it solo once again! Funny enough, this all started from a cold DM from Manu back in 2024. Before that, I was basically a hermit mostly just trading and posting on X. Thanks to Lighter I ended up doing quite a bit of traveling in 2025 meeting a lot of my favorite accounts as well as new acquaintances through the role. You need a bit of entropy in your life and there's nothing more chaotic than having 12 meetings in 6 different locations in a foreign city. 🏆Some fun achievements over the past 1.5 years · Grew $100k → $5m → $1.5m(masterclass in roundtripping) · Survived 10/10(just barely) · Traded over $2.2b on Lighter(no fees! yay!) · Created perpetualpulse.xyz to track perp dexes · Launched an extension with a whopping 25 users · Grew the Korean market to the most visited geography for Lighter with the amazing mr @IPALAU1 · Won the Korean community trading competition(there were only 20 of us initially) · Spearheaded the listing of the first Korean perps markets · Referred over 500 traders which did over $15b in volume · Perps e-sports post hit 2m views / 2k RTs · Made it onto a PnL card with the Prof Huge thanks to @vnovakovski, @manud_p, @babastianj and the entire Lighter team. Genuinely one of the sharpest groups I’ve worked with. By no means does this mean I won't be using Lighter or supporting the project. I will still likely be doing most of my crypto/rwa trading here. And I still believe the token is one of the few projects out there that has what it takes to be a top 20 coin. HIP-4 might just end up being the biggest onboarding event for Hyperliquid. (1) Most prediction markets are limited by the creativity of one team. HIP-4 would bring in different teams focusing on different events. (2) Hyperliquid was about crypto natives, HIP-3 brought in tradefi looking to hedge over weekends. HIP-4 would bring in prediction market players. The current token price doesn't reflect the onboarding which is awaiting to happen on Hyperliquid.

@Polymarket your crypto-price API (https:/ /polymarket.com/api/crypto/crypto-price) has a problem. I am assuming since yesterday you started caching prices from chainlink for this endpoint. Earlier we use to get a lot of 429 errors when trying to fetch openPrice for 5m markets. This error suddenly disappeared. But now the issue is if we fetch prices from this API right at the time when market becomes active, it returns a different price vs if fetched after few seconds of the market start. Now, this could be a clock sync issue from our end but the timestamp returned in the API is after the market start time. Hopefully, you can rectify it asap.

Isn't the fall in prices of Silver just going to accelerate purchase of physical Silver from COMEX etc?

@rosnburg Yes, there was an issue with HL vault execution of orders via my executor which caused a large lose one day. It has been taken care of and now they are mostly a replica. Most of the money > 90% in HL vault at that time and even now is ours and we took the biggest hit.

@andyweekends There was an issue with our HL vault which we have resolved. That issue led to one big loss. Going forward it wont happen.

@blothecap Why are the results on HL and Lighter so different?

Achieved all time high NAV of 1.33 which is a 33% return in 4.5 months (APY of 88%). We have outperformed bitcoin by 65% and ETH by 82%. We don't give signals for you to trade, we are trading live and showing results. A lot of TVL went out during a phase when the pool wasn't performing well. The drawdown was still within risk parameters defined and we were still outperforming BTC & ETH. I would really urge users to invest only if they are willing to take this risk, otherwise you are better off investing somewhere else. We really really dislike if our investors loose money, it is a real burden on our consciousness. Thank you to everyone who stayed invested :)

Sitting on these massive points on @pacifica_fi. Lets see where it goes. So far experience has been nothing short of great. UI is simple, API integration is a days job, Liquidity and OI is good. Just FYI, we don't really move on from projects to projects just to mine them. Still sitting tight on our $HYPE, $LIT and actively trading there.
