@Draconianwrath_ @Garaa0fTheRage Thats not how court cases work. The fact is the Japanese version of this patent is still valid. That is all that matters. The only way this USA choice can effect the Japanese case is if the japanese government sees it and agrees. However thats not likely.

@calmvortex @Garaa0fTheRage Actually it does, The Japs were trying to gain a foothold of legitimacy in the USA because they're currently losing in Japan, they wanted the USA courts to agree with them so they could turn around to the Jap side of things and argue that "see! they agree with us!"

This is the same patent cited in Nintendo's legal action against Palworld. Nintendo has two months to appeal the decision.
