“I met the owner of Toyota who is 92 years old. I said ‘you are rich’ and he agreed to invest $10 billion in the US.”
Shoichiro Toyoda — the man who built Toyota into a global giant — died in February 2023.
He has been dead for over two years.
Trump met with someone at Toyota.
It was not the owner.
Because the owner is dead.
This is the same president who:
— Said he predicted everything then said he was shocked by everything
— Declared victory 5 times in 13 seconds
— Invoked Pearl Harbor to Japan’s face
— Said Tomahawks are very generic
— Called Gavin Newsom “the President”
Managing the most dangerous geopolitical moment since 2003.
With a meeting he just described that cannot have happened.

Bragging that every “single man or woman…who had anything to do with” the criminal investigations of President Trump at DOJ and the FBI has been fired, resigned, or pushed into early retirement is something Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche now boasts about publicly. That is a bizarre thing for the country’s second‑ranking law enforcement official to celebrate. He is either admitting that he does not understand that his job is to safeguard an impartial Justice Department, or he is consciously and proudly telling the country that he is serving as a corrupt political tool of the president.

Important to note, the FCC Chairman himself is stating that CBS’s new ownership is “Trump winning.” That should deeply embarrass and offend CBS’s leadership. When the FCC Chair brags that you’re state TV for the Trump administration, a reassessment of one’s values is in order.

Trump on Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince MBS today:

This is how the President of the United States describes America’s most important Gulf ally.
The same Saudi Arabia that:
— Cut oil production by 6.7 million barrels
— Whose energy infrastructure Iran threatened to destroy
— Who the US needs to keep oil markets stable
— Who Trump is asking to join the Iran war
Diplomatic relationships are built over decades.
Trump just described the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia as someone kissing his body parts — on camera — while asking him for military cooperation.
France got an 8 out of 10. Japan got Pearl Harbor. Saudi Arabia got this.
The isolation of America is not just a policy failure.
It is a daily practice.

The administration also invoked the 7-day extension to FOIA before quoting @gmoomaw ~$5,700 for the documents. Apparently, even after Avula’s alleged FOIA overhaul efforts, it takes officials 12 business days just to come up with a quote.
