Push your own organisation to invest in its own broadcasting equipment and production setup; beef up your Comms department. The EFF has done this pretty effectively, and it gives them more control over how their events are carried in terms of good quality sound, lightening, image and video quality. If you host a media briefing or campaign events, let everyone else use your official feed to broadcast it. That's a win-win. Sometimes it's better to spend less time complaining and more time organising...
