But for me, no matter how angry you are, there are some words you should never say to someone older than you, especially someone in your husband’s family.
Things got worse after that. Out of anger, I refused to give my wife food. By the next morning, she called her mom, and her mom came over to pack all her things.
Now the house is quiet, and I keep asking myself the same question…

Your wife should listen to you at all times. She should take corrective ideas from you.
No matter how hot her rage is burning, it should be calm once she hears the words from you.
Cos if her raging storm against others doesn't calm when intervene, then who would she listen to?
But in thesame vein, you should not starve your pregnant wife of food to teach her a lesson.
Maybe ignore her for a while and if you were the one who fed her meals before then, maybe don't do so for the night, let her feed herself.
