@LJKenward I would usually ask the need for a female developer and then how the environment would help them thrive. If they can't answer the first question then they would have no clue in creating an inclusive environment

When companies approach me to help them find a female developer (for free), is an appropriate response:
Tell me what you do to make this developer thrive, be included, grow, and not be a token?
When I recommend people, it's a two way street, not throwing someone to the wolves!

Gitlab provides free private repos for the free tier hosted accounts. And there are lot of deployment features I have yet to utilize. It looks very exciting already

Whatever you’re hustling for, take note: most people/companies are shut down until ‘18. That means you get 2 extra weeks to outwork your competition. That’s 3.8% more time. For perspective: Usain Bolt won his gold medals running 1.2% faster. These 2 weeks are a gift. Get to work.

my personal experience as a feminine woman in tech is that men give me such a hard time and underestimate me for choosing to present as feminine, i just don't think we need an article about how coding shouldn't be pinkwashed, it's so far from what's actually happening in tech
