Candace, You’ve been maligned, attacked, and slandered your entire career. When Charlie was killed, most of us lost a leader, but you lost a friend. I think you are being courageous and sincere in your investigation of his death. And even if I didn’t think so, I’d still think it rational for us all to treat each other as such - because clearly, assuming bad faith is getting us nowhere. It’s good that you’re asking questions. I also invite you to consider whether there’s a better way to go about it. Particularly, a more measured approach in delivering the answers you propose to those questions. You do have haters who don’t actually listen to you. But there are also people who are not haters, don’t blindly buy the official story, and have equally sincere methodological critiques of what you’re doing. I get the instinct to fight fire with fire. I also think it’s unnecessary, and endangering people unnecessarily - including you. I hope you consider this message in the spirit in which it’s intended.
