@deadturtle12 IF Dandelion Sea ends up being real and is the Night Kingdom of Mondstadt.. I'll probably combust aksljdoaijwe..and yeah I encountered that NPC, too!! Tho she's a boatman..so like Charon, meanwhile Venti is more like Hermes cuz guide (he did "send off" Stanley tho)

one npc in the temple of space reveals that Irminsul wasn’t always the soul repository. back then, mortal souls were sent to the moon cities using silver ships and moon envoys. meanwhile Venti guides souls after death and Mondstadt literally means “moon city”…

@deadturtle12 Yes, even the description of sacrificial fragments points to how the wind flows in the moment, while time is a constant force. Kairos is the oportune moment, which matches Venti the best. In fact, the way Venti gained his time authority is very Kairos-coded.

this is what’s really making me overthink… could Venti have been a moon envoy? moon envoys could literally be anyone, not necessarily angels like Zibai — Thoth is a perfect example.
Venti has many connections to the moons… and to angels who were extremely close to the moons

remembered Durin’s SQ and now it makes sense why Venti was so anxious about the witches’ “experiment” with his fate. Durin freeing himself from fate → choosing his own path → rejected fates become the abyss.
we even see him losing control during the quest…

calling him “nepo baby” feels wrong, another mischaracterization imo. (sometimes it’s ok as a joke)
a lot of people still can’t separate “venti” from “barbatos” and keep portraying him as super energetic and chaotic, but that’s not really accurate

Guys is it me or Venti's fans are generally the worst at understanding his lore and the ones who mischaracterize him the most

inazuma hasn’t had proper content for over a year and the only thing we get now is another itto event with fucking klee.
