Unpopular opinion: Writing code is the easiest part of programming. The hard part is: • understanding the problem • debugging • handling edge cases Agree or disagree?

Developers, be honest 👇 What’s one bug you spent hours on… that turned out to be something stupid? Mine: wrong variable name. 💀

@AndyObtiva Maybe we’ll have AI-friendly representations under the hood, with human-readable code on top.

Programming language code like that of Ruby is made for humans to read, so if we want to build Software systems with AI, why use code as an intermediate at all? Programming language code is probably limiting to AI given it is tailored towards human readability. It seems like the sensible thing to do is to come up with a programming language that is optimized for AI (tailored towards maximum computer readability, not human readability), which would be very precise, remove the need to generate human code, and minimize AI credit use as much as possible. I am just sharing a brainstorm about AI here without necessarily being sold on what I am sharing as my thought process could be wrong, but it doesn't hurt to brainstorm and contemplate AI ideas. #ai #artificial_intelligence #artificialintelligence #ruby #programming #softwareengineering #programminglanguage #language #software #code #dev #softwaredevelopment

If your code suddenly stops working, first check: • syntax errors • missing semicolons • wrong variable names Sometimes the smallest mistake causes the biggest bug. 💀

Spent an hour debugging only to realize I was missing a semicolon. Classic.

Life is a continuous debugging session on a live server. Relationships are recursive calls hoping for a base case. And love is an async function—you send a promise, but the resolve timing is never guaranteed.

People think programming is about writing code. In reality it's mostly: • reading documentation • debugging weird errors • fixing things that worked yesterday #DeveloperLife #Coding

Everyone thinks AI will replace developers 😂 I've shipped 50+ products. Here's what actually matters: • Understanding the real problem • System design thinking • Debugging production nightmares Code is just 20% of the job. Agree? Follow for more dev reality checks 👇

@lazycs2 Every language has its trade-offs. Go focuses on simplicity, while Java offers a richer ecosystem.

Someone has to say it. Go is such a trashy language idk why people like it so much. Java does everything that go does but much better.

@NickPrijic Great analogy. As tools evolve, the focus shifts from the instrument to the creativity and orchestration behind it.

The rise of natural language and agentic programming is synonymous with the music industry. Electronic music and music production only got faster, better, and more intricate. It became less about the instrument themselves and more about the orchestration. Creativity went up and more non instrument playing artists broke out. And despite the critics, the skills and talents also improved for those who played specific instruments. They had to go beyond standard scales and playing styles to drive listeners. High tides rises all ships.
