How to increase your chances of being selected by GoDark:
It is not enough to deliver a well produced video. GoDark is looking for creators who understand what the brand represents: discretion, institutional strength, sophistication, and precision.
The video needs to convey the same feeling as the product itself. Less noise, more control. Less excess, more intention.
1- Start with the identity, not the software
Study the website, the official assets in the drive, the tone of communication, and the project’s value proposition before opening any editing software. The brief is not asking for just a beautiful video. It is asking for a video that feels like part of GoDark itself.
2- Understand the value of the invisible
A lot of the value here lies in what does not appear. Silent liquidity, precise execution, protection from information leakage, and absence of noise. Anyone who can translate that visually is already ahead.
3- Avoid generic crypto visuals
Too many effects, visual clutter, and easy hype will probably work against you. The tone here feels different: more institutional, darker, more controlled, and more sophisticated.
4- Prioritize brand clarity
Before finishing the video, ask yourself one simple question: even without overexplaining, does the piece convey the essence of GoDark? If the answer is yes, you are closer to the right direction.
5- Think like a brand, not just like an editor
The entries that stand out will not simply be the most polished ones. They will be the ones that translate vision, positioning, and identity into visual language with coherence.
These suggestions come from taking the time to study the project more closely, including its product, founders, engineers, community, long term vision, and the standard of communication it has chosen to build with. That alone already makes clear that this is a project with a high level of rigor and expectation.
