Hopefully this helps: Dems asked CBO to score based on the tax cuts expiring at the end of this year— which is what will happen if the bill is NOT passed. They claim it “explodes the deficit” by $3.3 trillion. That’s totally wrong. Why? It doesn’t recognize that the OBBB STOPS a $4 trillion tax hike on Americans! We’re making the Trump tax cuts permanent. By passing this bill, and *NOT* allowing the Trump tax cuts to expire, this bill will REDUCE the deficit by OVER $507 billion dollars. Dems are playing games with the numbers— which we call lying.
