And two solid works on Latin literature: J.E. Sandys's commentary on Cicero's Orator (1885) and W.M. Lindsay's Early Latin Verse (1922), both first editions, the latter from the hallowed halls of Newnham College.

Now for a big-but-little encyclopedia: Der Kleine Pauly, the 5-vol abridgment of the mega Pauly Wissowa, issued in 1964-75. This set is from the library of the great Greek historian P.J. Rhodes.

Next up, the oldest book of the lot: the great Richard Porson's four plays of Euripides, all bound together. The Hecuba (1808) appeared in the year of his tragically early death. This much loved copy comes from the library of missionary John Furniss Ogle and Stonyhurst College.

Next in line: a lovely collection of translations into Latin poetry, by Millington, the former teacher of A.E. Housman, who gives him the first public thanks (1889) for his help with Latin. This is not a common book. Very nice in the hand.

@ThatEricAlper Mick Fleetwood. His drumming... so wonderful. And when I realized what a drummer could do to make me understand a song I started listening even closer to all the other parts.
