In Norway, the two KFUM Oslo players accused of spot fixing, Bilal and Moussa Njie, are appealing against the two month suspension they were given by the FA.
Police say that at least €300,000 in profits were made from two matches where one or both of the brothers were booked.

In Czechia, two more players have been placed under investigation by the FA.
Tomas Rataj is accused of helping to fix a match while at SFC Opava. He now plays in Latvia.
Patrik Wehowský is accused of participating in four fixed matches while at SFC Opava and MFK Chrudim.

In Cyprus, the FA has fined Ayia Napa FC €50,000 for fixing their 18 Mar 2026 match against Karmiotissa.
The match was reported by UEFA and Sportradar due to suspicious betting for over 1.5 goals in the first half.

There have been five more arrests of people associated with CS Paulesti’s match-fixing case, including the club’s assistant coach Florin Pripu.

In Romania, CS Paulesti’s third league match from 6 Dec 2025 against Victoria Traian is being investigated for match-fixing by local police. CS Paulesti lost 4-0. Two people involved in financing the club have been arrested. Three players are also under investigation.

In Brazil, William Pereira Rogatto has been given a 13 year prison sentence for match-fixing offences. Three of his associates were also given long prison sentences.
Rogatto corrupted numerous lower league Brazilian football matches and became known as the King of Relegation.

In tennis, Serbian player Mila Masic has been given a ban of almost five years for fixing four of her matches.
German player Jana Vanik and Kazakh official Assylbek Kassym have been given bans of around one year for failing to co-operate with ITIA anti-corruption investigations.

The president of Argentinian club Atenas de Rio Cuarto has been arrested and had his home raided by police. He is alleged to have made large bets on his team to lose their 29 September match against Juventud Unida.

It is being reported that one of the people arrested in Czechia today was the major of Karvina, home of the top-flight team MFK Karvina. Several Karvina players have been arrested.
Lower league clubs Opava, Chrudim and Start Brno were raided.
Four referees have been arrested.

In Albania, Flamurtari have “expelled”club captain Lorenc Trashi. He gave away a 98th minute penalty in the match against Bylis yesterday. The club management believes he did this deliberately.

Ukrainian goalkeeper Maksym Koval has spoken about a fixed match he played in while contracted to the Greek Super League 2 club Kalamata.
He seems to have been referring to the 31 Mar 2024 match against Chania, which they lost 5-0. He claims the club president told him the match was fixed and responsible players would be leaving the club.

In Argentina, there has been a leak of WhatsApp chats between referee Luis Lobo Medina and a figure reportedly linked to the FA.
The messages suggest that the referee was bribed to favour top-flight club Tigre in their 12 Oct 2021 match against CA Mitre.

@fixingdigest AND sometimes this kind of information is shared in professional groups where everyone bets too. In the end, this match can have 50k bets, and it's not fixed at all.

In Norway, a spokesman for the Gaming Authority (Lottstift) has said that they receive "dozens" of match-fixing alerts from the betting industry every year.
If this is Norway, imagine what other countries must be like.
What is the outcome of all these alerts? I doubt even 1% of them lead to a punishment that I can hear about from my media scans.

In Russia, three players from the amateur football team RWChallenge have been given five-year bans for match-fixing.
The bans are for fixing RWChallenge's 4-1 loss to Zvezda St Petersburg in the Russian Cup on 05 Aug 2025.
