It just occurred to me that I never posted a main feed update on the August ‘24 payment provider issue. It resolved after a month of payment down time/giving away free licenses. All has been well with the service since then.

@JonSimons In illustrator you could use GuideGuide to generate a grid, unlock and select the guides, then transform it to be isometric. You can Google instructions for the right combo of skew/scale to do it. However there won’t be any isometric perspective related snapping.

@JonSimons Unfortunately no. GuideGuide uses the built in grid apis for each app and none support such a thing.

@guideguide I contacted you via the inquiry form recently, and I have just submitted another inquiry through the form. This is an excellent plugin that I have been using for many years, so I am currently facing difficulties as I cannot use it. I would appreciate your support.

@guideguide I have forgotten the license key for the GuideGuide plugin. I tried reaching out to FastSpring to retrieve the key, but I haven’t received a response. What should I do?

Note that this doesn't affect the GuideGuide product/service or customers. It's an attack on my payment provider and isn't something GuideGuide customers should be concerned about, beyond preventing new purchases. Here's a fun graph of my "new customers" this week.

Status update: Turns out someone has been using my store to make (and cancel) legitimate purchases to test stolen credit cards. @FastSpring (while never notifying me 🙄) has reasonably been shutting the store off to mitigate the problem.

It appears @FastSpring deactivated my store without warning, so it currently isn't possible to buy GuideGuide. While I wait 1-3 business days for a response🤦🏻‍♂️, let's make the best of the situation. Anyone can use the license key 1234-1234-1234-1234-1234 until this gets resolved.

GuideGuide in Figma, Illustrator, and InDesign just got a new setting: Guide Mode. Pick whether to use page/artboard guides or canvas/spread guides. guideguide.me/blog/new-featu… If you've been annoyed with artboard locked guides in Illustrator, you're going to be thankful for this.
