Excited and slightly terrified to announce that I have finally decided to get braces as a grown adult. It wasn't an easy decision to make and I procrastinated for a very, very long time. But now thanks to a wonderful team of doctors (at @hellodezy), I am all set to enter my braces era 🌸 I always knew I didn't have the perfect teeth, but didn't think too much about fixing them either. In my regular dental consultations (both in Patiala and Bangalore), I had been told a few times that what I have is a "misaligned bite" or in medical terms, a "malocclusion". Then, a few years ago, I started to feel trouble with my jaw and when I speak. A few more consultations and I realised that it is better to get it fixed than let it be. But every time I left from these discussions, I always felt slightly confused and slightly low. Among every one I consulted with, I hands down had the best experience with the doctors at Dezy Clinic in HSR. A few things that really stood out: 1. Firstly, they did a free dental scan for me. Showed me how my teeth look, what the problem is, and how they will look after the treatment. It felt comforting to get a full view of things. The more you understand, the more comfortable you become. 2. All the doctors had great bedside manner - a quality I cannot stress enough on. They started with complimenting me on my teeth. "You don't have any cavities - good job", "You have a maloclussion, but it is the best looking maloclussion" I love when doctors are sweet and kind and calm your nerves. They really are the best kind. I'm glad I found them very close to home at 27th Main in HSR. One shouldn't keep good things a secret, so putting this out for anyone who needs it. :))
