My wife and I have started to consider the idea of moving away from Texas. Cities were considering: - Raleigh, NC - Nashville, TN (Brentwood area?) - Charlotte, NC - St. Louis, MO (Ladue area) Anything else that’s similar we should consider? We want big TREES, great nature, four seasons of weather. International airport, and ideally country clubs nearby. States with a high income tax are a no go. 5-6% state income tax is max I want to do coming from 0%. Summers in Texas are the worst. We can’t do it anymore.

Today at a glance 5-7am. Deep Work 7am Get kids up and ready 7:45am. Drop kids off in monsoon ⛈️ 8-10am. Finish work 10-11:30. Workout & shower 12-3. Meetings 3:30. Sick kid doctor appt 5pm. Pick up other 2 kids 6pm. Bath & feed 3 kids 7pm. Date Switching roles / identities is something I’ve learned to master over the 9 years of being a parent. Going to be sharing more about this in the newsletter. But for now - back to cooking!!!

@thesamparr Absolutely the mountains of Colorado. Hit Leadville or around the ten mile range in Summit County. Leadville has access to incredible adventures. Winter hiking is pretty awesome if you’ve got the gear.

I wanna do a weekend trip to somewhere in the mountains. Fly outa Austin. Want it to be less than 3 hour flight. Any ideas for locations and a fun day adventure?

@mirmanwar I was using the K3 low profile in the office with brown switches. It had a nice feel while being socially acceptable sound wise. I have a Q1 at home also brown switches, I like the tactile feel on these better and the mint color is fun.
