Earlier that morning, deputies responded to multiple calls at the complex—first a criminal mischief complaint against Burch, then later a reported physical assault at the Deep Creek Golf Club. When officers arrived, body-cam footage shows a confrontation in which Poole fired at Burch, who later died at the hospital.
