@MrPitbull07 @DairiesMcqueens still delivers milk to your doorstep, in glass bottles and collect the empties. Only thing that is different you pay weekly from your bank and not leave your cash rolled up in the empty!

My wife says this never happened. Does anyone else remember when milk came in glass bottles and the milkman would deliver it to your doorstep before sunrise? You’d leave the empties out for him to pick up!

@LrkdLlrd @FarmingUK @Rosalyn0691 Worked in a factory 40 years ago, the processed foods were all the same line. The boxes or bags were changed for different companies, the mushed up frozen, reshaped fish products were all the same. It’s not a new phenomenon.

I was embarrassed to post this because of how obvious it is. Homemade chicken broth is just chicken bones, water, and half an onion simmered for an hour. That's it. No stock pot. No culinary training. The $4 carton at the store is this with 15 additives and half the flavor. Make it once on a Sunday and it keeps all week.

Heinz soups are a rip off. Their oxtail soup is very orange. Because it contains mostly carrot. Their chicken soup has no pieces of chicken in. It's just watery slush. Aldi's oxtail soup is a third of the price and is brown and their chicken soup has small bits of chicken in. Ditch the big names people.

I can’t believe that the Lords are voting next week on whether to allow Abortion up until birth. Why wouldn’t you just give the child up for adoption as this is a fully grown human being. How & why this is even being discussed is sickening & it’s immoral. Does anyone else thinks this is so wrong?

@postwarhistory A separate bin for food scraps was also collected by local farmers for pigswill. (A council estate in the 1970’s ) Still get my milk delivered in glass bottles which are collected, cleaned and reused twice a week.
