My thesis statement:

I don't really see Kon being too attached to the mainline Pokémon series (that's more Bart's thing) but I think he'd kinda be into Colosseum...badass protagonist that's also a boy & his dog...s(/cat/fox things) character who helps to restore the selfhood of Shadow Pokémon...

@stasamsara HE ALWAYS WANTS TO SEE THE BEST IN EVERYONE...it's one of my favorite qualities about him! It is for sure in part due to his naivete but I believe it's also simply a product of his optimistic nature...even if he can unfortunately be too generous with it at times.

@konbinary love this analysis and i think this is what makes his story contrast with clark’s. clark had his people lost to him, only to find his own family and an identity that was formed from two lineages. kon was created from nothing and had to form himself out of that nothingness +
