This is absolutely irresponsible BS. Atanu chakrabarty was heading a sensitive bank in the middle of a chaotic global situation!!He cannot make a very serious charge, resign with immediate effect and and walk back from it in less than 24 hours and get away unscathed. If he was sulking- the bank and investors are paying a huge price. Let’s see @RBI @SEBI_India @FinMinIndia @nsitharaman step up to investigate. Will they act against one of their own biradari??

@learning_pt Yeah. WFH ended & the choice was North India, change companies or berozgari. I chose the 2nd. 🙄 Former colleagues at one of my former WITCH orgs joined a client's GCC & put in a word for me. Hyderabad's better for my allergic lungs than NCR with its 500 AQI for 4 months.

@learning_pt The amount of high rise apartments built & being built here. 🥵 I stay in a high rise (30+ floors) & right next door on one side are 2 storey villas, on the other is a "low density" 10 storey apartment complex. Completely mogs Bengaluru & as usual, Kochi isn't in the picture.

People often complain a lot about paying taxes. But remember, you are taxed because you are earning. Even on an income of ₹1 crore under the new tax regime, the effective tax rate is roughly ~28%, not 30%. Yes, taxes should ideally be lower, but saying “I can’t save anything because of taxes” is usually not the real problem. If someone earning ₹1 crore struggles to save, it’s often a money management issue, not a tax issue. There are people earning half of that income who manage their finances well, invest consistently, and end up building significant wealth over time. Having a high income and paying taxes is still far better than having no income and paying zero tax. Instead of only complaining about taxes, focus on earning more, spending wisely, and investing consistently. That’s where real wealth is built.

a big chunk of salary is already gone. A high-paying job gives you comfort.
Not crazy luxury. In India, even top software engineers
can’t casually buy things worth multiple crores (they can if they have generational wealth and 0 responsibilities) That level of money usually comes from
startup wins, business, or equity. Not just a monthly salary🙃
