2026 software development: My husband has been talking to his laptop for 20 minutes. The laptop is building the app. He’s just providing emotional support.

I’ll never understand experienced developers hating on AI-generated code. You hate it when AI writes it. You hate it when another developer writes it. And somehow, in a problem with multiple valid solutions, your solution is the only correct one? If you’re experienced enough to spot bad AI code, you’re experienced enough to guide AI into writing good code. Why not use that advantage?

@kapzathefounder I say, maybe even both. But a mac app would be very convenient.

Im trying to validate something. How often do you get annoyed having to open motes to jot ideas? Quick notes or something you want to quickly spit out. I wanna make something where its one click and you can say or jot down ideas you have. Maybe rudimentary. But its what would work for me. Maybe something in the mac app bar or google extension

Day 14/90. Today was my birthday. My wife and friends surprised me with a DJI Mic Mini, and after weeks of building, we finally deployed Chorey to TestFlight 🚀 Also connected PostHog and Sentry so we can start gathering real data from testers. A pretty good day. The vlog is live 👇 #buildinpublic

I am SO close to finishing both apps, but it just feels like there is no end.

@softDev23 Obsidian is sick. I still haven’t set it up. I keep putting it off because I don’t want to spend an entire session configuring it 😂 For now, I’m sticking with the .md route for all my projects.

I kept pasting the same "who I am" intro into every AI chat, so I built one plain-text file they all read first. Then an AI audited it and caught a folder I swore existed but never made. How do you give your AI tools context? Still repeating yourself every time?

Day 3 on X It would be nice to see ANYTHING else on my timeline besides lets connect tweets and its varaiatios. Like do people dont have nothing else to talk about?

I might be wrong, but it feels like we’re in the “AI SaaS for the sake of AI SaaS” phase. Thousands of products. Hundreds of landing pages. Dozens of wrappers around the same models. Very few things that become part of someone’s daily life.

When did “I launched a SaaS” become more important than “I solved a problem”.

At some point I'll probably just start shipping apps so I dont have to pay for them

imagine if this technology fell into the wrong hands and foreigners could just one shot beige crud apps at will

I have a feeling that those last 10% of claude just get eaten up in seconds no matter how complex your issue is.
