@HeyHelmar Yeah. It has some basic Chinese seasonings, stuff that I would add regardless — garlic, ginger, chicken stock, scallions. But then I add other ingredients depending on what I feel like having. It’s pretty versatile.

I accidentally made i big pot of 粥 (juk1 - congee, for you heathens 😏) and it’s the greatest thing to have now that the season is changing…

@HeyHelmar Mine is a little more brown because it also has soy sauce and oyster sauce in it. But that’s how I like it.

@HeyHelmar Then you can add some chicken stock and ginger, garlic and scallions, salt & pepper. Actually a very good way to get over many illnesses is to eat a very plain 粥 that has a good amount of ginger in it. It’s easy to digest and the ginger helps fortify you.
