She’s a very violent cop. Targeting people abusing them.. brutalizing a teen teenager boy. I need to take her off the street before she’s seriously hurt someone. And she’s a cop.

Kevin Hart showing up to George Floyd’s funeral just to later laugh at a racist joke about him in his own production, and openly not giving a damn how George’s brother feels about it, is a 4k snapshot of what 2020 actually was for these folks. Not true solidarity, but a photo op.

WHY YO BLK ASS GOT PALESTINE FLAG
I somewhat agree. It's time ppl stop being btches about comedy and either grow a funny bone or dont watch it at all. Felt the same way with the Chris Rock stuff too. It's because of y'all the media is so damn filtered and strict as it is. All that "punch up/down" stuff. STFU

Kevin Hart handled the roast backlash and George Floyd joke situation horribly in that Breakfast Club interview. And the way he basically scoffed at Loren about her interview with Floyds brother was pitiful. Disappointed in Kev but not surprised tbh.

Kevin Hart broke his silence and admitted the George Floyd joke wasn’t tasteful to our culture. He also pointed out that he didn’t say it himself. In moments like this, we can respect the craft and still name the harm. Comedy sometimes has no rules. Our culture does. When you hold the platform, when you oversee the production, when you are the room, you carry a responsibility that goes beyond the mic. Not because anyone is perfect, but because influence is powerful. Those in positions of authority and visibility, in law, in entertainment, in advocacy, have a duty to protect the culture. Even when it’s uncomfortable. Even when it’s live. Even when it’s a roast. George Floyd was more than a punchline. He was a movement. His last words, “I can’t breathe,” didn’t just expose the brutality of policing in America, they exposed every space where power chooses silence over truth. Today, we still see power and popularity chosen over principle. It is unfortunate when a laugh matters more than the respect of a life. We see and support those who use their platforms. We just need them to see and support us too. 🎥: @breakfastclubam

Boomer Esiason 100% right on the Jaxson Dart, Abdul Carter controversy. Dart was asked to introduce President Trump at a New York event, so did it. He said nothing political or partisan -- tho I'm sure he supports President Trump (as do most NFL players and 90% of NFL QBs). If, for some reason, I were asked to introduce Barack Obama, I would do it, and be honored and respectful about it -- even though I think Obama was a horrible President. I would even find something positive to say -- because that's what you do if you have manners. I once had a very good conversation with President Bill Clinon -- even though I was on the other side politically. Clinton even told me he thought I would agree with a lot in the speech he was going to give. This is how politics should be conducted -- in a civil manner, even when we have strong disagreements. In other words, we need more John Fettermans.

Actually, Floyd was NOT "fine." He had profound existing coronary artery disease, with key coronary arteries 90% blocked. He had severe existing metabolic disease. He was a lifelong drug addict. He had just purchased drugs from his dealer standing right there on the corner, and decided to chew them up in his mouth rather than allow the approaching officers to describe this convicted felon in possession of illicit drugs YET AGAIN. Then he decided to violently fight lawful arrest against the efforts of four police officers for a full 10 minutes. Then the ambulance the police called much earlier the moment they had a hint Floyd might be in need of medical assistance arrived. The ambulance bundled Floyd up, stuck an oxygen tube in his nose that they FORGOT TO HOOK UP TO THE OXYGEN SUPPLY, and despite all that FLOYD STILL WAS FOUND TO HAVE A PULSE UPON ARRIVAL AT THE HOSPITAL. Only THEN did Floyd FINALLY die. Derek Chauvin did NOT kill George Floyd. The only person who killed George Floyd was George Floyd.
