Peeled some oranges in class today to find that the surface area of a tasty sphere is about the area of 4 circles with the same radius as the sphere. #ITeachMath #HRCEmath

Yesterday was a good day but had to leave work early today because it decided to start acting up something fierce this morning. An hour ambulance ride, some heavy narcotics, and a nap while waiting for maintenance to finish on the CT scanner here I am waiting for urology.

Coughing over the past week has dislodged a kidney stone. It’s a sharp pain I’m all too familiar with so it’s another sick day to get the ball rolling towards getting that sorted out (see doctor, book scans, etc) A normal day would be nice…
