i actually didn’t want to tweet this at first but since i’ve had some guy crashout about it under my tweet and other girls tweets.
yes, i’ve used bunch of makeup in this pic
yes, i used a blurring tool to blur my acne
yes, i still got acne as an adult but that doesn’t take away from my beauty nor does it make me “insecure” because i don’t feel comfortable posting my pores, pimples and scars on social media.
YES, social media is FAKE to a certain extent.
but taking advantage of a woman posting a picture to hate is just insanely insecure and pathetic.
we didn’t choose beauty standards nor did we choose to be measured to “perfection”
it really take nothing to be kind.
to anyone that struggles with self esteem, you’re perfect the way you are, no matter what anyone says on social media, we are human we have “imperfections” and that’s totally okay and it’s also totally okay if you don’t want to post that on social media.
loving oneself is a long journey, and even i after years still have to do that, so with this tweet im making a huge step forward for myself showing one of my biggest insecurities so that someone that struggles with the same thing can relate and know that it’s totally normal.
