Remote work is the biggest scam sold to Indian developer.
You're not free. You're not living your best life. You're just cheap labour for US companies. They pay you ₹25-40 LPA. Meanwhile they pay their local developers 3-4 times more.
No office means no visibility. No politics. No real promotions. No real equity.
And you sit in a dark 2BHK. Back to back meetings all day. Your onsite batchmate is already making more than you.

Planning to shift my location. Since in 4th year there will be only 3 classes in a week. Which is better 1. Flat - 5000/m 2. PG - 6000/m Currently I’m living in Ghaziabad. Also, attendance isn’t much of an issue, so I can skip one day and it basically becomes just 2 college days per week.

Companies hear that and fire mid-levels the next day.
Meanwhile seniors are buried in 3x invisible work architecture, hallucination fixes, reviews till 3 am.
All so companies can squeeze more output with fewer people while we lose our sanity.
This isn’t progress, it’s just cost-cutting. Isn't?
