this was only better if you're a nolifer who gets 4k tokens every pass (like me) ofc I miss it and I think riot is awfully stingy with mythic essence now, but the current pass is conceptually better imo

@emerrin_lol they nerfed the monetary value in everything after season 15 came. CEO was something else at the time and its the only reason the game is in the state it is. new one is making things better but nothing can be undone now

@notUnderline Yeah I think if they just made passes like the faker pass it'd be really really good but sadly riot is just really greedy

@notUnderline Having a pass that's more thematic and being just a simple track of rewards as opposed to a token shop is cleaner and more casual friendly, binding the free chests to it as opposed to champ mastery is also good. Ofc in reality the pass is just super stingy and worse value sadly
