@diorivee HAHHAA if you love studying about the behavior, developmental process of a child, thoughts, emotions, then psychology is really for you.

@pickyconch YESS like the medicine/chemistry part of psychiatry does not interest me at ALLL i prefer therapy and research… i could still do research with psychiatry but it’s 10x harder

@diorivee and that those 6 years of studying will only be worth it depending on the salary HAHAHA

@pickyconch YEAH HAHAH ITS GOOD FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BECOME A DOCTOR but i dont i just care about the psychiatry side… granted its 4 years of studying + 2 years of residency but still terrible.. id rather be happy doing what i love in college yk

@diorivee and also the fact that the coursework and focus of psychiatry are different from psychology 😭

@pickyconch i have very little interest in all those subjects at all and i’d only get like one year of psychiatry which is what i enjoy out of those 6… once i became a psychiatrist yes id love the job but the 6 years of studying would feel largely irrelevant

@diorivee if you're gonna go with being a psychiatrist in the future, you still have to get your bachelors degree in psychology though and then take a masters degree for that. that's how it works here. but to be honest, if you're gonna go with psychiatry, you could provide more for ppl

@diorivee u begin to overanalyze such things. but i love it ! that is why it's very important that when you're going to make a decision on what field you're going to pursue, go for the thing you really love to ! cause nothing is difficult when you enjoy doing things you love

@diorivee it's funnn, you'll learn a lot about the complexities of human behavior, like it's so interesting arggh but at the same time exhausting cause at the time passes by, the more you learn, the more you become aware of the ppl around u and it'll be very hard for u to ignore +
