Suffice it to say i dont understand this sentiment, and im not picking on Joe specifically bc its prevalant in a lot of cub fans. I guess its a “grew up watching lou pinella” thing but i would personally rather have my manager?

My optimism revolves around starting pitching being very good, general faith in an offense that was top-10 in baseball in every meaningful category last year, having Seiya back and then knowing Michael Busch is going to hit better than a .118/.220/.157 clip moving forward.
