@JayinKyiv Look at the map from the 2022 election. The areas with the strongest Fidesz support have relatively lower turnout today. This is a bad sign for Fidesz and a good size for Magyar.

If you are following the Hungarian election this weekend, here are some notes on how the system is supposed to work. Hungary’s parliament has 199 seats. Voters cast two ballots. One is for a local candidate in one of 106 constituencies. The candidate with the most votes wins

@NYCGreenfield I worked for an elected official whose Chief of Staff wrote an awkward Yom Kippur greeting without consulting me, her Jewish staffer. It was infuriating at the time, but luckily Nathalie Kanani wrote a thoughtful apology. I'll cut her some slack since she seems to want to learn.
