my mother is crazy. when i was a young child she was great: vivacious, extroverted, had a lot of friends. by the time i was a teenager, she had become extremely religious, with various obviously superstitious devotions to specific statues of the virgin mary and so. she became increasingly paranoid, thunderstorms in particular terrified her. she demanded that all the curtains be pulled when she heard thunder, and she would sit on a chair in the middle of the living room, to be as far as possible from every electricity outlet, because she believed that was the path via which the lightning would get her. another locus of pathology was the telephone. every time it rang, she decided it was a particularly loathed neighbour who was trying to harass her. one time, against her screaming prohibition, i picked up the phone and it was just my aunt. she told me to put my mother on the line and assured me that she could calm her down. after i went to university she left my father, because she believed he was poisoning her. she moved heaven knows where, nobody has been in touch with her for a decade.

@mscarnivore do you ever use trace elements hair lab? ARL is good, but it kinda sucks they only test for 6 toxic metals. TEL tests for a lot more stuff. I would like to see thallium and uranium, and antimony in there for example.

Happy birthday to my son who turned 6 today. Can't help but feel sad. I dare to hope for a brighter future. Things have certainly improved since a year ago.

@KBr_enthusiast Nice, I am also doing mineral balancing for me & my daughter. Using Valence brand. I am also looking into advanced chelators: like MIA-DMSA and NBMI. You should look into the facebook groups for those chelators: very interesting stuff. Apparently way better than other chelators
