IMPORTANT: West Bengal is reportedly dropping eggs from school mid-day meals and handing over a vegetarian-only meal contract to ISKCON. Meanwhile, states like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are expanding nutrition for children with more protein-rich food. @sardesairajdeep I have been a lifelong Jain and vegetarian. A properly planned vegetarian diet can provide all the nutrients the human body needs for a healthy life. Nutrition comes from a balanced diet, not from eating meat.

In India we are not taught to have difficult conversations either with parents or partners.
The idealistic romantic view of relationship- the other will understand without me saying anything.
If there is argument then the relationship is bad.
Don't argue with elders.

Mandatory things to do to get the right guy/girl if it's an arrange Marriage:
1) Filter out your choices based on career, looks, family background
2) Find if you guys think completely differently or completely alike
3) Spend time with them in alone - minimum a week's trip
4) See what can you manage and what you cannot
5) Get the background checked (very imp- whether it's career choices or relationships), investigate deep down
6) Get a compatibility test done
7) Check if they're still talking to anyone when things are 70% decided
8) Open discussions asap and trust your instincts
9) Ask them all types of questions which make them uncomfortable to see how they react
10) Get a medical check done for both

Seeing a lot of discussion on eggs in midday meals.
Tamil Nadu provides eggs daily to children using government funds.
Karnataka provides eggs daily through the Azim Premji Foundation.
I believe these are the only two states in India that provide eggs daily to school going children.
