AI isn’t just changing software. It’s changing electricity demand. Data centres run 24/7, and intermittent power alone won’t support that. The grid needs reliable, long-duration energy storage. That’s where vanadium comes in. Vanadium flow batteries are designed for long-duration energy storage. Scalable, long life, and suited to supporting the next generation of digital infrastructure. As this scales, the supply chain matters: Vanadium → electrolyte → battery → grid Richmond Vanadium’s Richmond–Julia Creek Project in North Queensland hosts one of the largest vanadium resource bases globally, positioning the project as a potential upstream supplier to the emerging long-duration energy storage industry. Through our collaboration with global vanadium flow battery leader Rongke Power, RVT is exploring how resource development can align with battery deployment and grid infrastructure. Because supporting the energy systems of an AI-driven world starts with secure vanadium supply. $RVT

"Globally, more vanadium flow battery projects are being announced... and the key challenge is securing supply chains,” said RVT Exe Chairman Brendon Grylls. Great to see Richmond Vanadium featured in Australian Mining’s latest piece on Australia’s next wave of critical minerals builders. The direction is clear - the sector is moving from ambition to delivery. Projects like Richmond–Julia Creek are being advanced to support growing demand for long-duration energy storage, with vanadium increasingly linked to the infrastructure required for grid reliability and rising electricity demand. As demand scales, so does the importance of secure, diversified supply. For $RVT, that means progressing Richmond–Julia Creek as part of the emerging mine-to-battery supply chain. #Vanadium #EnergyStorage #CriticalMinerals #EnergySecurity

The recent Clean Energy Finance Corporation (@CEFCAus) Green Room webinar brought together leading voices in sustainable infrastructure to examine the growing intersection between Australia’s digital expansion and its clean energy ambitions. The webinar highlighted significant opportunities for investors to contribute to a future where data centre growth supports the clean energy transition, including: 1) Australia has a golden opportunity to build a sustainable data centre industry 2) Data centre growth could drive a ten-fold increase in energy demand 3) Additional renewables and storage are critical to meeting the energy challenge 4) Sustainable design can catalyse data centre growth 5) There are opportunities beyond the city limits Senior Manager at Baringa, Rebecca Vallance, stated, “The data centre investment opportunity is unparalleled. Australia's access to clean energy, land availability, data sovereignty laws, geopolitical stability, subsea connectivity: all of those factors mean that Australia, in our view, is likely to continue to rank highly in terms of development opportunities.” We know that long-duration energy storage will be critical to firm renewable generation and maintain grid reliability as demand accelerates - enter vanadium flow batteries. This is the future $RVT is working towards – using its Vanadium Battery Energy Storage System (VBESS) model to connect vanadium supply to the energy systems behind an AI-driven world. 📺Watch the webinar here: youtu.be/GNkLHU1UIww #RVT #Vanadium #VBESS #EnergyStorage #AI #DataCentres #CriticalMinerals #EnergySecurity

Good conversations this week at the AMEC x ADIA event in Townsville. Our Chairman Brendon Grylls and Joanne Bergamin spent time connecting with Queensland Government and Trade and Investment leaders, including Anne Neil (Department of Resources) and Bianca Park (Trade and Investment Queensland). With all five Queensland Trade and Investment Commissioners in town, it was a great chance to have real, face-to-face conversations about where the critical minerals sector is heading. For us, it’s simple, these conversations are part of building the pathway for Richmond–Julia Creek. Approvals, investment and long-term development all start with alignment across government and industry. A lot happening in North Queensland right now. $RVT #CriticalMinerals #Queensland #Townsville #Vanadium

Today @richvanadium’s Executive Management team attended the Secure the Future Green Energy Forum in Townsville, alongside industry, investors and policymakers focused on North QLD's role in Australia’s #energy future. The conversations reinforced how important the region is becoming, not just for renewable generation, but for the infrastructure needed to support it. As Queensland Treasurer and Minister for Energy David Janetzki MP noted, “North Queensland has a key role to play in the state’s, and the nation’s, energy journey.” Projects like Richmond–Julia Creek sit within that broader system, supporting the critical minerals needed for long-duration energy storage and grid reliability. Great to see everyone leaning into what comes next, thanks to Townsville Enterprise for bringing the room together. $RVT #CriticalMinerals #EnergyStorage #Vanadium #EnergyTransition

The conversation around #AI and data centres is shifting. As highlighted in The Australian, Australia’s capital city leaders are warning that the current grid has limited capacity to support the rollout of power-hungry data centres without major system support. The challenge is clear. AI workloads run 24/7. Intermittent supply alone cannot support that level of structural load. Long-duration energy storage will be critical to firm renewable generation and maintain grid reliability as demand accelerates. That is where #vanadium flow batteries come into the equation. Through the Vanadium Battery Energy Storage System (VBESS) model, large-scale storage can provide the duration required to stabilise the grid while enabling the next wave of digital infrastructure. For Australia to capture the AI opportunity, the supply chain must exist domestically, from mine to electrolyte to battery deployment. This is exactly the ecosystem $RVT is working to support. theaustralian.com.au/nation/politic…

Last week, our Executive team was on the ground in North Queensland. From the Townsville Industry Breakfast to meetings with MITEZ, the Mayor, Council and local stakeholders in Richmond, and continued engagement with State Government departments, the focus was clear – progressing the Richmond–Julia Creek Project through environmental approvals and Mining Lease pathways. There’s something different about being there in person. Driving the roads, seeing the Flinders still cut by floodwaters, sitting across the table from local leaders, it reminds you that developing a project is about people and place, not just process. At the same time, the bigger picture is clear. Power demand is changing. AI, data centres and electrification are driving the need for reliable, long duration energy storage – and that will require vanadium. That starts at the resource. Queensland is home to our Project, and our focus is aligned with that, building the foundations today for the energy systems the next generation will rely on. $RVT #Queensland #NorthQueensland #Vanadium #EnergyStorage #CriticalMinerals #EnergySecurity

We presented today at the AMEC (Association of Mining and Exploration Companies) and Austex Resources lunch in Brisbane. This is not a mining story. It is a load story. Load is accelerating. AI-optimised data centres require firm power, not intermittent power. Long-duration is structural. Without mining lease: No electrolyte. No sovereign supply. No scalable LDES. RVT; Explorer to Developer Pathway. Integrated mine-to-battery economics.
