A department that i never thought we had was Departemen penerangan (the department of enlightment) and it had the most sickass emblem i have ever seen. It was responsible for controlling the press and media during the Soeharto era

Justru sebaliknya. The smiling general Soeharto. Indomaret = Salim Group Pendirinya, Sudono Salim alias Liem Sioe Liong, adalah kroni terbesar Soeharto. Bukan sekadar "dekat" karena satu dua kali ketemu. Ada buku khusus berjudul "The Business Pillar of Suharto's Indonesia" yang ngebahas gimana Salim Group literally jadi pilar ekonomi rezim orde baru.

If Mikel Arteta wins the Champions League with Arsenal… It would be one of the greatest achievements in the club’s modern history. But no, that still doesn’t make him bigger than Arsène Wenger. I don’t think you fully understand how massive Wenger’s legacy actually is. Wenger didn’t just win trophies, he transformed Arsenal Football Club forever and even Premier League at large. He arrived in 1996 and changed English football culturally, tactically, nutritionally, structurally, everything. At a time when the Premier League was still deeply rooted in old-school methods, Wenger modernised the game. Sports science, diet, technical football, player development, he pushed England forward. Then you look at the football itself. Three Premier League titles. Seven FA Cups. An Invincibles season nobody has replicated. Competing against Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United, Mourinho’s Chelsea, Abramovich money, and still building elite sides consistently for over a decade. And don’t forget the context of the Emirates era too. Arsenal moved stadiums and financially handicapped themselves for years. Most clubs collapse during transitions like that. Wenger somehow kept Arsenal in the Champions League every single season while operating on tighter budgets than his rivals. He kept the club elite during its most vulnerable period. That matters. Arteta has done an unbelievable job rebuilding Arsenal. He restored standards, rebuilt the culture, made Arsenal feared again, and tactically elevated the team back to Europe’s elite. Winning a Champions League would cement him as one of Arsenal’s greatest managers instantly. But overtaking Wenger? That requires more than one historic moment. It will take a lot more than that. Wenger gave Arsenal an identity the modern club still lives off today. He gave them longevity, dominance, innovation, iconic football, legendary players, and an era people still talk about nearly 30 years later. To surpass Wenger, Arteta would probably need sustained dominance: multiple league titles, continued European success, longevity, and an era that genuinely eclipses Wenger’s cultural impact on the club. Because Wenger is not just Arsenal’s greatest manager due to trophies. He is Arsenal.

if we win the Champions League, does Mikel Arteta overtake Arsene Wenger as the greatest Arsenal Manager of all time?

I’m going to be insufferable in summer… not because I’m an “Arsenal fan” but because in the past 3 years I have witnessed… - Liverpool fans holding a banner of Arteta dressed as a woman “Never the bride” - Tottenham celebrate their team losing to City at home - Haaland “Stay Humble” - David Bentley break into Arteta’s office, take his beer and mock Arsenal because Spurs won Europa - Slot, Hurzeler, Ten Hag, Amorim etc… complain about Arsenal’s style of football & claim that they should’ve won matches against us - Rival fans say Arsenal don’t deserve to win the prem because they’re not “entertaining” - Liverpool fans “drinking Arsenals tears” at a parade - Constant calls of being “bottlejobs” from rival fans - The silly culture of watch alongs from fans who gain fame from hating on Arsenal when their teams aren’t even in the title race or rivals of Arsenals (Kee Thomas I’m talking to you) - Second again chants at stadiums. - Gary Neville constantly berating our club, when he’s praising other teams for doing the same - Jamie Carragher saying “Get down the tunnel” for a simple celebration - Man City fans talking about “We’re breathing down on you” - Lastly, every time we win people tell us to shut up & run online narratives because it’s Arsenal but praise other clubs for doing the same… And I’m sure I’ve missed some. So don’t judge Arsenal fans when we’re out n about in London with kits on. When the trophy parade shuts down the entirety of North London & Northwest London. We deserve this.

I'm going to try to watch this film, because the Indonesian gov't is lying about what's happening to the Papuan people. For years the Indigenous people of West Papua, Sumatra and other regional islands have been protesting against land theft for colonial agricultural expansion.
Al Jazeera English@AJEnglish

Indonesian authorities have shut down several screenings of a new documentary on alleged human rights abuses in Papua, including Indigenous land seizures. Rights groups and international media still face restricted access to the region. Al Jazeera’s @JesWashington reports.

I hope Indonesians here have: 1. Radicalised themselves enough to argue against the fallacy of NGO's and the folly of western aid. 2. Know the character of Prabowo as a CIA-puppet that's being pressured, just like Soeharto during the late 80's. 3. Are competent enough to-
