My honest review on Dhurandhar > I have watched dhurandhar 1 thrice in the theatre > I have watched dhurandhar 2 twice in the theatre The movie is fab, I love it's direction, music and storyline - What I loved about the movie Dhurandhar showed the brutal reality of ISI to the Indian citizens. No sugarcoat, No false bhaichaara towards them and I loved it. Portrayed the reality of the most wanted terrorist of India, Dawood Ibrahim, without glorifying his crimes and terror representing him as an actual terrorist rather than a glorified gangster which Bollywood has been doing for years :) -My Dislikes Of course we all know the movie was Pro India but a Pro BJP too! Anybody denying that fact is either lying or he/she is stupid People are actually believing that demonetization, the biggest failure of the Modi government was a master stroke after watching this. Do they give a fuck about the 3 minutes disclaimer put in the beginning of the movie? I don't think so The movie is entirely based on a lot of real life events stitching them to create this narrative which makes it a "Political Propaganda" and that's the brutal truth. The movie goes even beyond to frame the entire opposition as ISI's pasandida sarkar, ISI funding NGOs and Universities to make the opposition win. Yes, that's what propaganda is, when you stitch a movie from "real events" and push the ruling party's narrative calling it "artistic liberty" Final thoughts Dhurandhar is not just a film, it's a political and social message to the citizens of this country, and we must make sure we catch the right message and not the false narrative.
