In a world of political turmoil, and where the NHS is under pressure and scrutiny, I would like to highlight and praise my local NHS trust. Last night I ruptured my achilles. I attended South Tyneside District hospital. Within 90 minutes I was seen and discharged (1).

Triage, med assessment, x-ray, cast, and medication prescribed, all within an hour and a half. From booking in at reception (and a paramedic who helped me to a wheel chair), to being seen to the door, South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS trust made me feel like I had gone private.

@RobbieCoo76 100% Its just the start. The downfall of society begins with the individual. No one is perfect, but as soon as you think things like this are ok, its a slippery slope.

@scottbezza The people that give out about that sort of stuff are part of the problem imo, how anyone can think driving around without plates on their vehicle is ok is absurd.

@RobbieCoo76 I don't doubt that mate. Comment still stands for other places though. Where I am in Tyneside people give the police shit for acting on number plate crimes, they see it as not a real crime, but imagine someone like this takes out a family member and drives off with no plate?

@scottbezza The Garda are afraid of their b*llox to go into these areas in Dublin mate, the normal patrol cars get bricked, petrol bombed, rammed off the road etc, I’ve witnessed it.

It’s always hard to know what is going on behind the scenes at SAFC but weve lost good people like Bruce & Speakman - & we’ve now got an unwillingness to engage with supporters groups. What type of club are we turning into? Loving the on-field success but this isn’t right 🙁

@JoanneYougson 100% its vile, they've tried all sorts and all the club said was its not fair to make someone move when its not their fault, however you can make an old lady move. But they fact no one sat in those seats....

A reminder for all on the DD scheme, these are the dates… Check & doublecheck your payment comes out and if not action it straight away because the way things are going I think they’ll sell your ST straight away .. i’ve had mine 34 years I won’t sleep the night before 🥲

@RokerReport Club messed up mam and nanna's payment (even thought it was done in person) and then sold off their seats before the 1st payment was taken. Gave them seats not together, and refused to sort anything out, as its "unfair to ask someone to move" old seats weren't even sat in at all.

Special cases definitely need to be considered, and I'm not sure it gets much more special than a family who only moved into 76 Yards because of the mobility of a now sadly deceased relative, and they now want to move back because of the cost. Why wouldn't they facilitate that?
