Sad news. My friend Simon who did the original bird for Twitter, Octocat for GitHub and Redid Sammy The Shark for DigitalOcean has passed away, he was 56. He was a great guy. What a loss.

Some personal news - I have joined the team at @obexincubator to incubate and support projects at the frontier of the Sky Ecosystem. I believe Obex is the largest capital deployment we have seen in this space with cohort one already cooking - $1B being deployed into eight teams across compute, energy, credit, housing and AI infra. Together with @parkeraedwards and @0xSimon, we are building the rails to make asset allocation move at lightning speed. Sky's been one of the most resilient pieces of infra in the space, nerding out on the architecture up close these past couple months has only made that more obvious. Back to building 🫡
