The Organization for Economic Co-operation & Development (OECD) was created in a post-WWII world by a group of founding nations that included the United States. Today it has 38 members and each member country sends an Ambassador to the OECD headquarters in Paris. The OECD is staffed by over 4,000 people and produces reports and data distributed around the world.
Today, on behalf of America’s mayors and the people of Oklahoma City, I engaged in a day of meetings at OECD’s headquarters with OECD leadership and staff, as well as Ambassadors to the OECD from nine nations. We solidified the partnership between the U.S. Conference of Mayors and the OECD.
